Felt right at home here
Kuten tässä postauksessa kerroinkin, me yövyttiin Oíassa Santo Maris -nimisessä hotellissa (tarkemmin paikan nimi taitaa kuulua Santo Maris Luxury Suites & Spa). Oltiin kyllä tosi tyytyväisiä majoitukseen, ja varsinkin itse huoneeseen, jonka “luksushippi”-fiiliksestä tykkäsin superpaljon. Sviitillä oli myös kokoa, olihan se pinta-alaltaan isompi kuin meidän oma kämppä. Huoneeseen kuului merinäköala ja terassi jacuzzeineen. Lopulta tosin kävi niin, ettei käytetty poreallasta ollenkaan. Terassille paistoi iltapäivän aurinko tosi kuumasti niin, että myös altaan vesi oli ihan liian lämmintä meille. Ilmeni, että porealtaalla oli yksi funktio, ja se oli toimia Tikrun ja sen kissanpentukaverien juottoaltaana. Jos jotain miinusta hotlasta pitäisi keksiä, niin kuntosali olisi voinut olla paremmin varusteltu ja muutamat, yksittäiset hotellin työntekijät olivat vähän hitaita. Tämä ilmeni siten, että jouduttiin viikon aikana ehkä kaksi kertaa itse siirtämään aurinkovarjoa niin, että mä sain auringon siirtyessä olla edelleen varjossa (tästä huomattavasta rasituksesta juuri ja juuri selvittiin). As I in this post told you, we stayed at a hotel called Santo Maris in Oía (I think the whole name of the place is Santo Maris Luxury Suites & Spa). We were more than happy with our choice of accomodation, and I must say I loved the luxurious yet boho vibe of the decor. Our suite was pretty huge as it actually was bigger than our home at the moment. Additionally, we were spoiled with a sea view and a terrace with our own private jacuzzi. At the end of the week, we noticed we hadn’t used the hot tub at all as the afternoon sun on the patio was way too hot for us (typical Finns). The jacuzzi had one function, though, and we noticed it was to serve as Tikru’s and other kittens’ trough. If I had to criticize something, perhaps the gym could’ve been a bit more versatile, plus one or two of the employees also were a bit slow. The latter meant that, we had to move our umbrella at the pool one or two times ourselves during the week (we survived). Talk to you again tomorrow!
