CASA MONO

Food Travel

Casa Mono - Pic 4, 2

To brighten up your Friday afternoon I decided to introduce you one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time. The restaurant isn’t unfortunately situated in Helsinki, and thus, it will be taking at least a year or two before I get to go to the restaurant slash Marbella again. I’m talking about Casa Mono which is located in the Marbella Town area and deserves outstanding reviews, I might add. Both the food, milieu and service were of such high quality, and the tartar de atún rojo I had as a starter was especially delicious. The restaurant is a bit hidden, and one probably won’t stray there unless one knows where to look. Casa Mono is actually built in the middle of Estébanez calderón street which might sound a bit bizarre. Despite the location, it felt like I was having dinner in the middle of nature or in some verdant garden at least. The outfits of the waiters were so cool, and they had just the right amount of twinkle in their eyes while serving the customers. If I lived in Marbella, Casa Mono would probably become my regular hangout, there’s no doubt about that. But now it’s time to return back in this moment, the last working day of the week is still ahead. Have a sunny and wonderful weekend everyone, hugs!

BEAUTIFUL BOSCOLO
Well hello! I wanted to share some of these lovely pictures with you. The photos were snapped while we were waiting for our ride in the lobby of our hotel in Nice. Some of you, my dear readers, have asked me about the the specific itinerary of our roadtrip, and that's one thing I'm going to share with you in this post. Our trip started at the biggest city on the French Riviera. After spending three days exploring Nice, we rented a car to drive to Cannes and also stopped by the village of Antibes on our way the city of the famous film festival. While holding our base in Cannes, we paid a day visit to the lovely Saint-Tropez. From Saint-Tropez ...

SANTORINI THROUGH THE LENS OF MY iPHONE
1. Santorinin arkkitehtuuri on vailla vertaansa. There’s really nothing quite like the architecture on Santorini. Someday, I’d like to own one of these pink villas with pilars in front and cute little vases placed around the frontyard. There would be more greenery at the back, or perhaps a view over the caldera of the island. I h ...

HAVING AVOCADO TOASTS AT GREEN HIPPO CAFÉ
Me käytiin perjantaina aikaisilla aamiaistreffeillä Punavuoressa Fredan torin laidalla sijaitsevassa Green Hippo Caféssa, ja oltiin kärppänä paikalla heti ovien avautuessa puoli kahdeksan maissa. On Friday, we had an early breakfast date at Green Hippo Café located on Fredrikinkatu in Punavuori. We were there right when the doors opened at 7:30 am. Green Hippo Café has its premises where there used to be the classic restaurant of Tori and, if I remember correctly, there also was a healthy breakfa ...
