POSTCARDS FROM PARIS – PART 1
Taking beautiful pictures while vacationing in Paris isn't hard at all. Hoping to cheer up your Wednesday afternoon by sharing these photos of the city that I don't think I could ever get tired of. More pictures from Paris are coming up here on AV as soon as I'll find the time from the quite busy work schedule of mine. Looking forward to it already!

BACK FROM PARIS!
Greetings from autumnal Paris! As I am writing this, the time is half past seven in the morning, and I really gotta hurry to get to work on time. Just wanted to stop by and say  a quick hello. Our vacation in Paris was so lovely, missing it already. Lots of posts we shot in Paris coming up later, including some outfit pictures, naturally. Have a great week peeps! Asupos ...

SOON, I’M OFF TO…
... Paris! On Wednesday it's time to pack our bags and head to a long-expected getaway in the most romantic city of the Western Europe. Even though we're not expecting beautifully blooming flowers or a clear blue sky, this short vacation of ours will be much needed. We only have a few things planned. To make a few calculated purchases, try out different restaurants and also to hold back rain in the cutest of cafés, that is. Let's see if we'll have either the time or the energy to check out a few museums or maybe even take a stroll through the pretentious, yet so luxurious palace of Versailles. Already looking forward to Wednesday! ... Paris! ...

WANDERLUST
Even though fall was, at one stage of my life at least, my favorite season, longing for a sunny holiday in the autumn time usually is what ends up happening. Despite the fact that I enjoy my work and all the related everyday routines very much, a short vacation under the sun would be more than welcome. Here I've collected some of my favorite travel-r ...

POSTCARDS FROM HANKO
Hey peeps. Here's another compilation of summery photos we shot while enjoying the lovely atmosphere in Hanko! Heippa! Tässä toinen kesäinen kuvapläjäys ihanalta Hangon retkeltämme, olkaapa hyvät. Even though peonies have held on as my absolute favorite flower for quite some time now, hydrangeas can be found on the well-deserved second position on the list (now would be a great time to make notes, M). Just look at these stunners! Vaikka pionit ovat pitäneet pitkään pintansa suosikkikukkinani, hortensiat ovat nousseet viime aikoina hyväksi kakkoseksi (nyt olisi sopiva kohta tehdä muistiinpanoja, M). Katsokaa nyt näitäkin sinisiä kaunott ...

EARTH LAUGHS IN FLOWERS
"Earth laughs in flowers" is a quote by an american poet called Ralph Waldo Emerson (I'm impressed if you've heard about this guy before). Looking at these pictures, I understand exactly what he meant and couldn't agree more. I'm not sure if you still remember my "Lavender fields forever" post I wrote you a couple of weeks ago, or not. Either way, these pictures were snapped the same day when we were drinving from the town of Valensole back to the blue coast, Côte d'azur that is. I think I'll remember these gorgeous sceneries for the rest of my life. It's still baking hot here in Finland, but we luckily managed to get our hands on a fan. And ...

BEAUTIFUL BOSCOLO
Well hello! I wanted to share some of these lovely pictures with you. The photos were snapped while we were waiting for our ride in the lobby of our hotel in Nice. Some of you, my dear readers, have asked me about the the specific itinerary of our roadtrip, and that's one thing I'm going to share with you in this post. Our trip started at the biggest city on the French Riviera. After spending three days exploring Nice, we rented a car to drive to Cannes and also stopped by the village of Antibes on our way the city of the famous film festival. While holding our base in Cannes, we paid a day visit to the lovely Saint-Tropez. From Saint-Tropez ...

MY MONACO
Our lovely after-work with friends ended up lasting longer than expected, which is why I didn't have quite enough time to write this Monaco-post yesterday. Nonetheless, now it's time to say goodbye to the beautiful lilliput state with these final pictures, I hope you enjoy! I've always been in love with hot food. When dining at any sushirestaurant, it's really not uncommon to find me asking for additional wasabi for two, maybe even three times. Monaco did impress us with many aspects, but the selection of Japanese restaurants wasn't one of them. Maybe it was just that we were tourists and thus not familiar with the best sushirestaurants. Täs ...

MARCHÉ AUX FLEURS
When in Nice, we visited the flower market (marché aux fleurs) the second day of us staying there. I guess you readers aren't overtaken by the fact that I couldn't resist snapping some pictures. Those piles of flowers were just too gorgeous! Toisen Nizza-päivämme ohjelmaan kuului vierailu paikallisilla kukkamarkkinoilla (marché aux fleurs). Torilla pysähdyimme ihailemaan toinen toistaan värikkäämpiä ruusukimppuja ja kukka-asetelmia, enkä tietystikään voinut vastustaa houkutusta kaivaa kamera laukun pohjalta. Tässä kuvaushetken lopputulos, olkaa hyvä! The flower market is situated on the street called Cours Saleya in the oldest part of N ...
