Heippa, onpa ihanaa, kun viime päivinä ollaan saatu nauttia auringosta ja lämmöstä täällä Helsingissäkin! Itse oon viettänyt näitä kesäisiä päiviä kaupungilla kierrellen ja Birgitan terassilla kaverien kanssa istuskellen (voin muuten lämpimästi suositella Birgitan vegepurilaista). Tällä viikolla myös hääjutut ovat edistyneet aika kivasti. Tiistaina ostettiin M:lle häihin puku ja keskiviikkona laitettiin mun sormus tilaukseen. Meidän kihlauksesta on kulunut aika lailla kymmenen kuukautta, ja täytyy myöntää, etten ole mitenkään erityisesti kaivannut sormusta nimettömääni. Nyt kun mun unelmien sormus vihdoin löytyi, tuntuu 4-6 viikon toimitusaika ihan käsittämättömän pitkältä odottaa! Puvun ja sormusten lisäksi ollaan saatu vedettyä myös vähän pienempiä juttuja yli meidän to do -listalta. Hommat etenee!
Hey loves, it has been so nice to have some sun and warmth here in Helsinki this week! I have spent these summery days strolling around the city and sitting on Birgitta’s terrace with my friends (I can wholeheartedly recommend their veggie burger). This week, we’ve also checked quite many items of our wedding-related to do list. On Tuesday, we bought M the suit he’ll be wearing on our big day and, on Wednesday, we ordered my wedding ring from the goldsmith. It’s funny how it has already been ten months since our engagement, and I haven’t been that impatient to have a diamond on my ring finger. Now that I’ve found the ring of my dreams, it seems impossible to wait the delivery time of 4-6 weeks. In addition to the suit and the rings, we’ve also finalised some smaller tasks, and I love how things are proceeding, slowly but surely!
