Tänä talvena ei ole varmasti ollut viikkoa, etten olisi vetänyt kuvien baker boy -hattua päähäni edes jonakin päivänä. Tykkään hurjan paljon fiiliksestä, jonka hattu tuo asuun, ja se on mahtava ratkaisu myös silloin, kun hiusten pesuväli on kiireiden tai unohduksen vuoksi päässyt venähtämään. “Leipurinpoikahattu” toimii paitsi talvella, niin myös lämpimämmällä säällä – silloin vaikka printtimekkoon ja bootseihin yhdistettynä.
I think I’ve worn this baker boy hat at least once a week this winter. Currently, it’s one of my favourite accessories as I like the feeling it brings to every look, really. It’s also my go-to solution when I’ve forgotten or been too busy to wash my hair the previous night. A baker boy hat can be worn in summertime, too – during the warmer months, I’d style it with a cute print dress and some cool boots.

Oon löytänyt baker boy -hatusta ihanan vaaleanruskean version Lack of Color -nimiseltä aussibrändiltä. Tilausta en ole vielä tehnyt, sillä oon ollut toiveikas, josko riittävän samanlainen yksilö löytyisi edes hiukan lähempää kotoa. No mutta, sitten itse asuun! Me otettiin nämä kuvat meidän viimeviikkoisella Ateneumin visiitillä, kun päätettiin kerrankin vähän sivistää itseämme ja lähteä tsekkaamaan museon klassikkomaalaukset.
I managed to find a lovely beige version of the hat from an Australian brand called Lack of Color. I haven’t made an order yet, as I’ve been hopeful to find a similar one a bit closer to home. Oh well, I guess it’s time to discuss the look! We snapped these pictures while visiting Ateneum Art Museum the other week. That Saturday, we decided to do an efficient tour of the museum to check out the classic Finnish paintings of the place.
Oon ihan tyytyväinen kuviin, vaikka Ateneumin niukka luonnonvalon määrä kuvia ottaessa ensin vähän hirvitti. Toivottavasti teillä on kivoja suunnitelmia alkavalle lauantai-illalle! Vaikka kello lähentelee jo seitsemää, halusin kirjoitella tän postauksen valmiiksi, ja siksi oonkin vähän jäljessä mun kunnianhimoisesta aikataulusta. Nyt on pakko lopetella ja alkaa valmistautua illan rientoihin. Kuullaan taas pian!
At first I was pretty nervous about how the pictures would turn out as the amount of natural light in Ateneum was pretty scarce. But I can say I’m pretty happy with the result.
