Pariisin matkan ensimmäisen päivän olimme pyhittäneet shoppailulle. Päivän päätteeksi mukaamme oli tarttunut vähän, mutta sitäkin mieluisampia ostoksia. Niin kuin monessa muussakin asiassa, myös shoppaillessa laatu korvaa mielestäni määrän. Pariisista ostin siis “vain” Chloén laukun ja pienen Diptyquen kynttilän. Massimo Duttilla ihastelin pitkään leveälahkeisia, ihanan boheemilla printillä varustettuja housuja, jotka oli vieläpä valmistettu aidosta silkistä. Lopulta päädyin jättämään housut kauppaan, eihän niille Suomen säissä olisi kuitenkaan kovasti käyttöä tullut. Rentouttavaa sunnuntaipäivää kaikille, nyt on aika irtautua tästä koneen äärestä reippailemaan aurinkoon!
We had dedicated the first day of our Paris trip for shopping. At the end of the day, however, we had made only a few purchases. As of many other things besides shopping, I really prefer quality over quantity. In Paris, I only bought the Chloé bag and a small scented candle by Diptyque. At Massimo Dutti, I tried on a pair of wide-leg silk trousers, that had the prettiest bohemian print on them, but ended up leaving the pants in the store. There would’ve been only a few occasions where I could’ve worn them considering the typical Finnish weather we have almost all year round. Wishing you a relaxing Sunday, now it’s time for me to get away from the computer and go jogging in the sun!
