In this privacy policy (“Policy”), I explain what kind of personal data I collect from you and how it is used and protected. This Policy may be updated from time to time, for example, due to amendments in the applicable legislation.

The processed personal data includes standard analytical information and it is collected by using web analytics, such as Google Analytics. The purpose of the processing is to understand how my website is being used and how it could be improved. Such data may be disclosed to service providers, like Google.
Tracking from APPRL links & widgets
When you browse my website, your personal data is collected through APPRL Fashion AB’s (“APPRL”) tracking solution. APPRL has created an online tracking solution which connects retailers (such as online shops) with publishers (such as bloggers or influencers) to show you products and services by using affiliate links.
APPRL collects your IP address, location data, UserAgent, APPRL cookie ID, and order information that is all received through log data sent by your browser. Such data is processed in order to provide the service, as well as to monitor and analyze how the service works and to improve its functionalities.

Comments
If you leave a comment, you have to provide me with your name and email address. The name you have provided along with the comment will be visible to visitors of my website.
Contact form
If you contact me through the website’s contact form, I will only collect basic contact details provided by you. Such details may include e.g. your name, location, email address, and other possible personal data included in the message by you.
Newsletter
If you choose to subscribe to my newsletter, I will collect basic information needed to provide the service, such as an email address provided by you. This data will be disclosed to the supplier of Mailchimp-platform, The Rocket Science Group LLC.
Sharing your Data
Service providers. In addition to the ways explained above, I may also share your data to third party companies or individuals that help with Arctic Vanilla in one way or another. I will not, however, disclose your data if it is not necessary and, when disclosing the data, I will follow any applicable legal obligations.
Legal requests. I may share your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which I am a subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person, or exercising my legal rights.
International transfers. The hosting facilities for my website are situated inside the European Economic Area (EEA). If your personal data is transferred outside the EEA, your personal data will be protected by appropriate safeguards. E.g. the data collected in relation to newsletter subscriptions will be transferred to the service provider located in the U.S. The service provider participates in the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.
Legal Grounds for Processing
The processing of personal data is based on your consent and Arctic Vanilla’s legitimate interests, depending on the data processed. I will, for example, ask your consent before you subscribe to the newsletter. The processing is further based on Arctic Vanilla’s legitimate interests to develop and improve its services.
Regarding the newsletter, I will retain your personal data as long as you use the service. Other types of personal data (e.g. data of contact forms and comments) will be retained for no longer than 10 years for the purposes for which it was collected. I may retain your data even longer for securing my legal rights or for other grounds accepted in the applicable legislation. I may also store and process anonymous data for statistical and other similar purposes. The third-party service providers will retain the data in accordance with their own policies.
Your Rights
According to the applicable data protection legislation, you have a right to object the processing of your personal data at any time.
You also have a right to:

- obtain rectification or completion of personal data that are inaccurate;
- obtain erasure of personal data;
- obtain restriction of processing of personal data (e.g. for the time during which you await a response for the request to rectify personal data);
- withdraw consent (to the extent the legal ground for processing is consent); and
- data portability.
You must present the request regarding usage of your rights by using the contact details described below. I might ask you to verify your identity or specify the request before the implementation thereof. It is further possible that I refuse to fulfil your request, on the basis of a ground prescribed in the data protection legislation. In such case, I will notify you of such grounds.
Additionally, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in case you think that I have not processed your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. You can lodge the complaint with a supervisory authority of the EU member state where you habitually reside or work, or where the alleged breach of data protection legislation has taken place.
