Hey you and greetings from Ko Lanta, Thailand! Gotta say I’m really happy to get to write here and update the blog again, it has been quite long since. The ones who follow me on Instagram must already know I’ve been on a well-earned vacation. Gotta say it has been absolutely amazing, and luckily there’s still a few days left to unwind properly after returning home from our trip to South-East Asia.

I'm so excited to finally get the time to write for you guys, it has been too many days since! In the last two weeks, we have had several feast days here in Finland as probably in many other countries, too. In my opinion, both Christmas and New Year's Eve are events when one should make some effort when it comes to dressing up for the day.

THE HAT IS ON FIRE
Wishing you all a cheerful Christmas! I, myself, spent the Christmas eve at a cottage with the family. All the luminous snowdrifts and an authentic, wood-heated sauna created a very traditional setting for the celebration. The food was tasty, little birds sang behind the window and the fireplace heated up the place. And there was nothing more I could have wished for.

HÔTEL DES INVALIDES
Hey! Here's another set of outfit photos we shot during our weekend getaway in Paris. I sure didn't spend the whole day without a proper coat, even I'm not that frost resistant. However, we did end up taking the pictures without my jacket as it was quite a sunny day, and there was practically no wind in the location. The outfit simply looked better on the camera minus the jacket.

Hey! Here you have the first set of outfit photos we shot in Paris. The divinely gorgeous Palais Royal got to serve as the setting of these pictures. During our trip, we really were the cliché of tourists and didn't even try to act anything else. Reading our Paris guide, we actually learned a few trivial details of this beautiful castle that was first built during the 17th century.

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING
Hey! It is quite rare to see me in dark colours, and even more seldomly one can find me wearing from head to toe all black. Even when black predominates as the main tone in an outfit of mine, I've usually combined a splash of colour or a fresh white accessory to balance out the darkness. A few days ago, I chose to wear only black items and, as rare as an occurence it is, we ended up saving it on our camera.
