Ennen Byron Bayn majakalla otettujen asukuvien julkaisemista tehdään vielä pieni matka ajassa taaksepäin takaisin Los Angelesiin. Jos ravintolan sisustus on sinulle vähintään yhtä tärkeä kuin herkullinen ruoka, on Ledlow ihan must-juttu vieraillessasi Los Angelesissa. Ledlow sijaitsee Downtownin alueella, ja ravintola saa brunssin ja lounaan lisäksi myös illallista. Brunssin osalta menulta löytyy sekä tervellisiä salaatteja että suussasulavia pannukakkuja.
Before publishing the outfit photos we took at Byron Bay’s lighthouse, let’s do a short trip back in time back to our vacation in Los Angeles. If you appreciate the interiors of a restaurant as much as the delicious dishes, then Ledlow is definitely a must for you when visiting the city of angels. The bistro is situated in Downtown LA and, in addition to lunch and dinner, serves also brunch ranging from healthy salads to delicious pancakes.
Mustavalkoisen sisustuksen lisäksi kaltaiseni esteetikon silmää hivelee annoksien esillepano, joista on eräs esimerkki nähtävillä yllä (postauksen muut kuvat olen itse ottanut lukuun ottamatta annoskuvaa, jonka lähde on Ledlow’n omat sivut). Sekä Ledlow’n että myöskin Downtownissa sijaitsevan Bar Ámán omistaa Josef Centeno -niminen ravintolaguru. Bar Ámassa söimme ennen Lakersin matsia, ja täytyy sanoa, ettemme joutuneet pettymään myöskään Áman meksikolaistyylisiin annoksiin, pikemminkin päinvastoin. Söisin kummassakin ravintolassa koska vain uudestaan, jos siihen tulisi mahdollisimman pian uusi mahdolisuus!
For all the aesthetes out there, I can guarantee a beautiful experience, if not only for the cool black and white interiors, but for the gorgeous presentation of the dishes (all the other pictures in this post were taken by me except for the first one – its source is Ledlow’s own website). Both Ledlow and a Mexican restaurant called Bar Ámá are owned by a guy called Josef Centeno. We had some cocktails and snacks at Bar Ámá before heading to Lakers game, and can recommend that, too – just make sure you have a reservation. It’s safe to say I’d eat in both of the restaurants again if I only had the chance!
