Tässä hieman lähempi kurkistus laukkukokoelmani uusimpaan tulokkaaseen. Chloén Drew -laukku nousi viime syksyisillä New Yorkin muotiviikoilla oikeutetusti uuden “it-bagin” asemaan. Tällöin laukun nähtiin keikkuvan muotinäytöksien eturivin vakiotyttöjen, kuten Caroline Issan ja Aimee Songin olkapäillä. Niin kuin blogiin matkaa edeltävästi kirjoittelinkin, tavoitteenani oli löytää Pariisista jokin ihana, sävyltään kauniin vaalea kesälaukku. Shoppailun loppumetreillä Chloén putiikissa pähkäilin sitten hyvän tovin tämän vaaleanpunaisen yksilön ja luonnonvalkoisen Drew’n välillä. Lopulta päädyin yllänäkyvään laukkuun, jonka värin nimi taisi virallisesti olla Ancient pink. Rakastan Chloén brändin ylellistä tyttömäisyyttä, mutta täytyy sanoa, että ostoksien päätteeksi paperikassiin myyjän toimesta suihkautettu hajuvesipilvi silti lähinnä nauratti. Toivottavasti pidätte laukusta yhtä paljon kuin minä, sillä sitä tullaan varmasti näkemään pitkälti asun kuin asun kaverina lähiaikoina!
Here’s a closer look at the newest addition in my bag collection. Drew by Chloé became the hottest it-bag during the New York Fashion Week last autumn. That’s when several front-row regulars, like Caroline Issa and blogger Aimee Song, were seen carrying the purse. As I have already mentioned here on the blog, I had set as a goal to find a lovely, light-coloured summer bag during our trip. After a good day of roaming through the shopping streets in Paris, we ended up at Avenue Montaigne’s Chloé boutique where it was so hard for me to decide between the blush pink bag and a lighter, off-white version of the same purse. In the end, I’m really happy with my choice as there is something so luxurious and feminine about Chloé’s brand that I really love. However, I must say that the perfume cloud sprayed on my paper shopping bag mostly made me laugh. I hope you like Drew as much as I do, as we’ll be seeing a lot of it here in the near future!
