Hey! Here’s another set of outfit photos we shot during our weekend getaway in Paris. I sure didn’t spend the whole day without a proper coat, even I’m not that frost resistant. However, we did end up taking the pictures without my jacket as it was quite a sunny day, and there was practically no wind in the location. The outfit simply looked better on the camera minus the jacket.
Heippa! Tässä toinen päivän asu -tyyppinen postaus matkaltamme. En tokikaan hengaillut marraskuisessa Pariisissa koko päivää ilman takkia, ihan niin lämminverinen en minäkään ole. Asukuvat päädyimme kuitenkin napsimaan ilman takkiani, olihan kyseessä varsin aurinkoinen päivä ja tuulensuojassa oleva kuvauspaikka. Asu yksinkertaisesti toimi kuvissa paremmin ilman päällystakkia.
Walking by the Hôtel des Invalides, we decided this was definitely the right backdrop for our photos. This gorgeous monument was first built in the 17th century as a hospital for the homeless, injured or the disabled veterans of the war. Also, Napoleon Bonaparte was put to rest in the crypt of the church as it was his last wish to get to rest in peace on the bank of the Seine river.
Kuvausten taustaksi valikoitui Hôtel des Invalides tai, tarkemmin sanottuna, Invalidikirkko. Tämä upea sairaalana toiminut monumentti rakennettiin 1600-luvulla haavoittuneille ja kodittomille sotainvalideille, kuninkaan käskystä tietenkin. Napoleon Bonaparte on laskettu kirkon kryptaan viimeiseen lepoon, olihan Napoleonin viimeinen toivomus, että hänen tuhkansa lepäisi Seinen rannalla.
