Me tehtiin eilen pienimuotoinen spontaani kesäretki Viikinrannan, Lammassaaren ja Helsingin Vanhankaupungin hoodeille. Nämä kaikki kolme on alueita, joissa en ollut aikaisemmin pyörinyt käytännössä ollenkaan. Päätettiin lähteä matkaan myöhään iltapäivästä ja otettiin nämä kuvat sitten vasta illansuussa kultaisen hetken aikaan.
Yesterday, we decided to do a small-scale summer trip to the neighbourhoods of Viikinranta, Lammassaari and Vanhakaupunki here in Helsinki. Every single one of these three are areas were I hadn’t hang out at all before. We left home late afternoon and then took these photos during the golden hour that turned out to be absolutely beautiful.
Summer, don’t leave!
Ihastuin meidän retken myötä erityisesti Lammassaareen, mutta ensi kerralla kesämekon sijasta täytyy ihan suosiolla laittaa päälle kunnon ulkoiluvaatteet. Varsinkin mun aika äskettäin ostetut daddy sneakersit oli tällä kertaa ehdottoman väärä valinta. Oikeaan kantapäähän ilmaantunutta rakkoa täytyy nyt yrittää kärsivällisesti parannella jonkun aikaa. Näiden kuvien ottamiseen meni ehkä kolme minuuttia, enkä ollut ajatellut tehdä näistä edes omaa postaustaan.
I was completely smitten by Lammassaari, but next time I’ll try to remember wear proper clothes for outdoor activities (it takes quite a lot of walk to see the best parts of the island). A particularly poor choice of me was the daddy sneakers I had purchased just recently. I’m sure the blister I got on my right heel will take more than just a day or two to heal. It took like three minutes to snap these frames, and I hadn’t actually planned on creating a separate post around them.
Editoinnin jälkeen kuvat oli kuitenkin mun mielestä niin kivoja, että tässä sitä ollaan. Postauksessa vilahtaa myös mun uusin hankinta. Puhun tosta & Other Storiesin superpehmeästä mohairneuleesta, johon oon (niin kuin Lammassaareenkin) kovin tykästynyt. Paidassa on sellaiset hauskat pussihihat, mutta neuleesta on tulossa parempia kuvia vielä myöhemmin!
But after I was done with the edit, I ended up liking the photos so much that here we are. In the pictures, you can also spot the latest purchase of mine. I’m of course talking about the utterly soft mohair knit I got at & Other Stories the other day. I absolutely love it. The sweater has these fun statement sleeves, but I’ll post better pictures of it for you guys a bit later.
