Hey! Here you have the first set of outfit photos we shot in Paris. The divinely gorgeous Palais Royal got to serve as the setting of these pictures. During our trip, we really were the cliché of tourists and didn’t even try to act anything else. Reading our Paris guide, we actually learned a few trivial details of this beautiful castle that was first built during the 17th century.
Heippa! Tässä Pariisin matkan ensimmäiset asukuvat. Näiden kuvien taustana toimi jumalallisen kaunis Palais Royal, jonka, voisi sanoa turmeltuneestakin, historiasta opin myös hieman matkallamme. Here’s a few facts about the, one might say depraved, history of the Palais Royal. After the French revolution, the former castle of the king was turned into a casino that acted as the setting of both gambling and obscene parties. Another interesting detail is that Alexandre Dumas himself worked as the attendant of the castle’s library. Anyway, as the lover of old and beautiful buldings I had a lot to admire in Paris.
Entisestä kuninkaan palatsista tehtiin vallankumouksen jälkeen pelikasino, jossa 1700-luvulla järjestettiin uhkapeli-iltoja ja riettaita juhliakin. Sivujuonteena voisi mainita, että palatsin kirjaston hoitajana toimi aikoinaan myöskin itse Alexandre Dumas. Tämän pienen tietoiskun jälkeen voisi todeta, että minulle vanhojen rakennusten rakastajana tietysti riitti Pariisissa ihmeteltävää.
