SOME SWEET TREATS
Yesterday was an extra special day for me as I got to kick off the morning playing. My 1-year-old godson learns so many new things in such a short time, and the things that us adults take for granted are especially exciting for him. It wasn't just one or two times that I was forced to join in the laughter as his giggling laugh was so genuine and precious.

THE HAT IS ON FIRE
Wishing you all a cheerful Christmas! I, myself, spent the Christmas eve at a cottage with the family. All the luminous snowdrifts and an authentic, wood-heated sauna created a very traditional setting for the celebration. The food was tasty, little birds sang behind the window and the fireplace heated up the place. And there was nothing more I could have wished for. Oikein tunnelmallista joulua kaikille! Itse vietin aaton perheeni kanssa mökillä, jossa hohtavan valkoiset luminietokset ja aito puusauna loivat upeat puitteet perinteiselle joulunvietolle. Ruoat olivat suussasulavia, talitintit lauloivat ikkunan takana ja takkatuli lämmitti. En ...

POSTCARDS FROM PARIS – PART 3
We started our third and last whole day in Paris by having a little shopping spree on Avenue Montaigne. The avenue is bordered by beautiful boutiques by practically all the major luxury brands. Here's where I bought my little Chanel, first of a kind. Making the decision of which bag to choose wasn't exactly the easiest I've made. E ...

WEEKEND VIBES
As I spent the last weekend celebrating my friend's bachelorette party, it's time to lift the feet up and just take it easy this Saturday. The theme of the bachelorette bash was police, and we even got to try Megazone, which is a game where different teams combat with laserguns. Gotta admit I had certain prejudices against the idea of the game, but it actually turned out so much fun and even captivating, I'd say! Afterwards, as I went over the events of the day for M, he laughed up his sleeve and mumbled something like "girls playing war, that should've been captured on the video". Viime viikonloppu sujui pitkälti ystäväni polttareiden merke ...

MUSÉE DU LOUVRE
Hey peeps! Just noticed it has already been two whole days without having the time to post anything for you guys, sorry about that. Now it's definitely time to pull myself together. Here's the third, and thus last, set of outfit photos we shot in Paris. After posting these, we're gonna have to settle with the familiriar, a bit dark and even somewhat rainy outfit photos taken here in Helsinki. I'm convinced they will be quite pretty, too! Heippa! Huomasin taas muutaman päivän vierähtäneen ilman, että ehdin ollenkaan kirjoitella teille, anteeksi siis kovasti päivätyön kiireistä johtuvasta heikosta postaustahdista. Totesin, että nyt on aika pet ...

TEA TIME AT L’ADURÉE
So, finally we get to continue our Paris travel diary. This time, I've chosen these L'adurée photos to beautify this post. For our first night in Paris, we had chosen Semilla restaurant, situated in Saint-Germain-des-Prés area, as our go-to dinner place. If you find yourself in Paris and in need of an excellent restaurant, the exact adress is 54 rue de Seine. Semilla turned out to be a place we can unconditionally recommend! The food is cooked with Spanish influences and served with such kindness that I'd love to visit the place again as soon as possible. No niin, nyt pääsemme vihdoin jatkamaan Pariisin matkapäiväkirjaa, tällä kertaa L'aduré ...

HÔTEL DES INVALIDES
Hey! Here's another set of outfit photos we shot during our weekend getaway in Paris. I sure didn't spend the whole day without a proper coat, even I'm not that frost resistant. However, we did end up taking the pictures without my jacket as it was quite a sunny day, and there was practically no wind in the location. The outfit simply looked better on the camera minus the jacket. Heippa! Tässä toinen päivän asu -tyyppinen postaus matkaltamme. En tokikaan hengaillut marraskuisessa Pariisissa koko päivää ilman takkia, ihan niin lämminverinen en minäkään ole. Asukuvat päädyimme kuitenkin napsimaan ilman takkiani, olihan kyseessä varsin aurinkoi ...

POSTCARDS FROM PARIS – PART 2
Hey! Here's another set of snapshots we photographed in Paris. In France, we stayed overnight at a hotel called Le Pavillon des Lettres, which is quite nicely situated in the 8th arrondissement. It took only 500 metres of walk from our hotel to the best-known street in Paris, the Champs-Élysées. Like probably so many of you, we're always putting location first when scouting hotels. "Location, location, location!" could definitely be our mantra, too. Heipparallaa! Tässä toinen setti fiilistelykuvia Pariisista. Ranskassa yövyimme hotellissa nimeltä Le Pavillon des Lettres, jonka sijainti oli mitä parhain Pariisin 8. kaupungiosassa lyhyen, 500 ...
